Temple High School One-Act Play Advances from Bi-District to Area

Temple High School Theatre's One-Act Play advanced to the area competition from bi-district, along with Whitehouse High (The Caucasian Chalk Circle) and Corsicana High (The Scottish Tragedy) on Saturday, March 25 at University High School in Waco.

Emma Tolleson was named Best Actress in the contest. Adara Felix was named to the all-star cast, with Benjamin Clardy receiving an honorable mention all-star cast award. Samuel Little was selected as best technician.

The area contest will be Monday, April 3, at University High School. The contest begins at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Adjudicators will be Robin Robinson, Marion Castleberry, Eric Lee. Temple will be the 4th school to perform (at approximately 4 p.m.)

Three of the six schools will advance to the Regional Contest April 6 & 7 in Pasadena.

   2. 2:20 p.m  Magnolia High, Moliere
   3. 3:10 p.m. Corsicana High, The Scottish Tragedy
   4. 4:00 p.m. Temple High, Hedda Gabler
   5. 4:50 p.m. Whitehouse High, The Caucasian Chalk Circle
   6. 5:40 p.m. Rouse High, David and Lisa
Times are approximate as performances run back-to-back.
