Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,
What a great start we have had at Bonham Middle School this year!
There is so much to tell you that we have planned for our students and staff.
First, we have celebrated our scores from last year's TAKS test. Once again, we have scored higher than the State in most areas. We are already hard at work to help our students do their very best on the TAKS this year. Last year we were named as one of the top 251 middle schools in the state by “Texas Monthly”. In addition we were above, equal to the state or 90+ in 40 out of 45 categories for TAKS. Finally, we are one category away from Recognized.
We have an energized staff eager to help our students. Our dedicated staff will be providing them with the best learning experiences possible.
Parents, we welcome you as partners in your student's education. Please visit the classrooms--not just our lunchrooms. We also request that you sign in as always, get a name badge, and bring a driver's license for identification any time you check your student out during the day.
Please call any time for information about our school. The number is 254-215-6600. Together we will all be winners since we are “running with the big dogs” in 2007-2008.
