| Before 2004-2005 | Yearbook used only 4 color pages and a color cover. All other pages were black and white, with a count of 56 total pages. |
| 2004-2005 | Contents maintained as in previous years. Tech Apps classes held a competition for cover design with B. Wilson, 8th grade, winning. |
| 2005-2006 | First year of Internet surveys to rate yearbook covers. Competition
finalists chosen by responses to yearbook survey. Finalist chosen
by campus staff. Winner was J. Aguilera, 6th grader. Full color yearbook published for the first time. All pages digitally produced in Tech Apps classes using classroom and publisher supplied software. The book earned top honors for yearbooks produced totally digitally by the publisher (InterState Studios) in both State and national competition. First year for student designed background pages. Students in Tech Apps produced them as class projects. |
| 2006-2007 | All procedures used in 2005-2006 maintained this year. Cover competition
winner was J. Laquerica, 8th grader. First yearbook deliverables, updates, and changes to be
supplied directly to publisher via network file transfers. Parent support for cropping pictures for collages was invaluable. Program pages for several elective offerings were included in this year's edition. |
| 2007-2008 | This year's work was highlighted by more student produced background pages and covers, including some from students outside Tech Apps. Cover design winner was L. Jackson, 8th grader. Deliverables were provided to publisher on DVD burned at Bonham using new student computers. Parent involvement and support were once again greatly appreciated. First use of PDF files for reviewing process. E-mail used to provide feedback. The book is currently in production. |
