Inspiration for Web Planning Great! You've decided to build a classroom web site and now reality is beginnig to set in. Just what am I doing and how do I do it? Oh, no! I'm over my head and people are depending on me! This thing called a web site is way to big for me! Well...., not really. Do you remember how to eat an elephant? That's right, one bite at a time! So, if I could use that analogy, we are going to eat this elephant called a web site, one bite at a time. The first step, or bite, like the first step in any large project, is to make a plan. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Therefore, this planning processes is very important. Now, even this bite can be overwhelming without the use of some simple tools. Although there are many tools you could use for this planning process, let's look at a program called Inspiration. In Inspiration, you think and learn visually. Inspiration provides you with the tools that let you create a picture of your ideas or concepts in the form of a diagram. It also provides an integrated outlining environment for you to develop your ideas into organized written documents.
If you have an idea or web section that you want to expand, Inspiration can help you organize your thoughts and save you time. Use the visual diagramming part of the program to play with your ideas, to arrange them and group-in other words, to clarify your thinking.
