Food Safety Program
The Temple ISD School Nutrition Department has implemented the Hazard
Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) food safety program required
by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The department meets the
highest food safety standards as established by state and local health
department. Kitchens are inspected twice in a school year by the
Bell County Health Department. Cafeteria Managers and Supervisors
are required to be state approved in Certified Food Management. Cafeteria
specialist and subs must attend the Bell County Health Department food
safety program yearly.
