Question: How do I log into the TISD Staff Intranet web site?

Answer: Type your user name (firstname.lastname) into the User ID field.
Type your password into the Password field
Type tisd or TISD into the Domain field

(Note: If you use America Online to connect to the Internet, switch to Internet Explorer to
login and navigate the TISD website. Encrypted logins are not supported using the AOL browser)

Question: What if there is no blank for the Domain?

Answer: Each web browser and operating system has a different format for login screens. Some do not give you a seperate blank in which to type the name of the Domain. In this case, you will need to add the domain name to the front of your user name. You will also need to separate the two with a back slash. For instance on a Windows XP system you should type your user id in this fashion:

TISD\firstname.lastname

Question: Why do I have to login so many times?

Answer: Some TISD resources are available for the general public and some for specific groups of employees. Every service that you use requires that you verify "your identity" so that you are able to access different resources from outside the district. Most resources have been set up so that you may access them with your usual computer username and password.
