Special Education works hand in hand with parents and regular education staff to improve learning outcomes for students with special needs. Parents serve on ARD/IEP teams to develop Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for their children. The Special Education Department responds by providing the very best instruction and training to implement the students’ IEPs. The focus of training this year includes the entire range of academic settings from self-contained severe to arrangements of inclusion in regular education classes.
