ProQuest Information and Learning
This online eLibrary service provides access to newspaper, books, magazines, maps, graphics, etc. No login is required when using the resource from within the TISD district. Using the resource from home requires a password which may be obtained by emailing the Technology Help Desk or the TISD Web Master.

Study Island
TISD has purchased subscriptions so that students can take advantage of this TAKS math and reading preparation web site. Study Island provides review and practice activities for students in grades 3-8.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online
Encyclopedia Britannica provides access to encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas, and video resources. A TISD subscription makes it available to TISD teachers and students.Use Encyclopedia Britannicato assist with research. It is also available in Spanish.

World Book
World Book is available to TISD students as a research tool. It includes encyclopedia articles, a dictionary, atlas, magazine articles, videos, sounds and even a special section just for Texas research. Worldbook Online is available in English and Spanish.
