Thomas Nichols graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music Education, magna cum laude, in May of 1982. By August he was teaching music to elementary school students in Temple ISD, first at Dickson and Lanier, then 17 years at Thornton, and ending his career as a Kodàly-certified general music teacher at Raye-Allen Elementary School.
