TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Independent School District’s annual Kindergarten Round-up will be held later this week. The event will be Friday, April 26th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Temple ISD Administration Building (401 Santa Fe Way, Temple, Texas 76501).
The Kindergarten Round-Up is for all Temple ISD families with incoming kindergarteners. Families will have the opportunity to register their students with assistance from district staff. Representatives from other departments, including transportation, school nutrition, special education, and counseling will be on hand to answer any questions families might have. The Bell County Health Department will also have representatives available to review shot records and provide vaccinations. Families will need to bring copies of their student’s birth certificate, shot record, a verification of address and parent ID to the Round-Up.
“The Kindergarten Round-Up gives our families a chance to meet directly with the people who can answer their questions and provide the assistance they might need,” said Eric Haugeberg, assistant superintendent of student services for Temple schools. “Multiple departments will be represented at the event, and we are able to bring everyone together in one location to make it easier for our families. We look forward to seeing our families on April 26th.”
