Temple High School Junior ROTC to Conduct Pass in Review on Veterans Day

In recognition of Veterans Day and to honor Central Texas veterans, the Temple High School Air Force Junior ROTC Corps of Cadets will conduct its 22nd Annual Veteran’s Day Pass-in-Review Parade at the Temple High School Wildcat Stadium on Friday, November 11 at 10:30 a.m.

The Temple program has over 275 cadets this year, which makes it one of the largest Air Force JROTC programs in the nation.  This year the Corps is commanded by Cadet Colonel Brittany Harris, and the Senior Staff consists of Xavier Robbins, Aislinn Mullen, Michael Bogard, Sarah Abbott, Faith Brearey and Diana Barrientos.

The cadets at Temple participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as color guards for school and community functions and ceremonies, a Push-up Squad for Temple High School football games, competition drill teams and an orienteering program.  They also march in the Annual Temple Christmas Parade, help serve meals at H.E.B.’s Holiday Feast of Sharing, visit the VA Hospital, conduct park cleanups and support other school and community events.

The public is invited and admission is free, so come and join the Junior ROTC unit on November 11, and invite friends and veterans you know to help the cadets pay tribute to those who have done so much to protect our freedoms.
