Dr. Robin Battershell, Temple ISD Superintendent since 2007, informed the Board of Trustees and Temple ISD staff Friday morning that she intends to retire at the end of this school year in June 2018.
Over the next couple of months, the Temple ISD Board of Trustees will begin the search for a new superintendent, and community involvement will be encouraged.
The school district will keep parents and the community at large informed every step of the way.
