THS Students Complete High School Chapter of Life

6/13/17

“We get to use our history to form an identity that will slingshot us into the future,” Valedictorian Jacob Sames told the Temple High School class of 2017 on Saturday (June 3) morning at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton.

A cheering crowd of about 6,000 friends and family welcomed the 500 graduates to Garth Arena for the school’s 128th commencement. U.S. Rep. John Carter (R-Round Rock) congratulated the graduates via a video screen, and advised them to be careful while they celebrated their achievement.
