Temple ISD Puts Continued Focus on Early Literacy

Temple Independent School District is hoping a return to full-day pre-kindergarten this fall will help improve literacy in the later grades.

The district is also increasing the number of reading coaches available to elementary school students and focusing more on reading skills across all subjects in order to improve literacy.
