FIRST Finance Reporting
Temple Independent School District officials announced at the Board meeting on Monday, October 12, 2015, that the district received a rating of “Pass” under Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. The rating is the state's highest, demonstrating the quality of Temple ISD's financial mangagement and reporting system. Temple ISD received this rating under the Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system for the fiscal year 2013-14 according to Kallen Vaden, Executive Director of Finance.
The Schools FIRST rating system assigns one of two financial ratings to Texas school districts. The rating system consists of seven indicators each with an assigned point value. To receive the "Pass" rating, the district must receive a score of at least 30. Temple ISD scored a perfect 30 out of 30 possible points.
