Temple alum Tre Hawkins III became the second former Wildcat selected in the 2023 NFL draft when he was picked in the sixth round by the New York Giants on Saturday (April 29). Hawkins is a defensive back who played two years at Trinity Valley Community College before finishing his collegiate career with two seasons at Old Dominion University. He joins Quentin Johnston, a irst round pick of the Los Angeles Chargers as former Temple standouts picked in this year's draft.
