Distribution of Promotional Material
Temple ISD authorizes its schools to distribute or display communication of organizations that promote youth programs, activities or events that aim to improve the health, education or welfare of Temple ISD students, staff and families. Promotional materials may take the form of notices, announcements, brochures and flyers. We will process your request as quickly as possible, but ask that you plan ahead for the review process. We will review flyers for approval on Tuesdays. The Superintendent (Dr. Bobby Ott) or designee (Christine Parks) must give approval PRIOR to posting/distribution.
For Profit Business or Activities
It is not the practice of Temple ISD to advertise any for-profit business or activity to students or families. Temple ISD reserves the right to distribute information to staff if the business or activity is a part of our employee discount program.
Distribution of Materials | External Entities
Temple ISD will not approve any materials for distribution/posting by Non-TISD entities (booster clubs/PTOs/etc) before September 17th or after May 17th. Requests may be submitted prior to September 17th, but they will not be approved for distribution prior to that date.
To request flyer distribution, please email a PDF version to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to 200 N. 23rd Street, Temple, TX 76504. You may also drop the flyer off at Central Administration (200 N. 23rd). We will no longer accept fax requests.
If approved, the business will be given a list with the count of students by school, grade level, and by class. It is the responsibility of the business to sort flyers by campus AND class or they will not be distributed. Sorted flyers should be delivered to the Temple ISD Warehouse (505 S. 5th). From the day the bundled flyers are received at the Warehouse, please anticipate a week before they are sent home with students. This allows for campus mail schedule and campus distribution through teachers.
