Dante Mack is the first Temple High School senior this year to be headed to an Ivy League school.
The straight-A student will move across the country in the fall to attend Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., after receiving close to a full scholarship.
“I really enjoy the environment and the people I met at Dartmouth,” Mack said.
But that wasn’t the only Ivy League school interested in the highly involved student-athlete. Brown University also offered him a hefty scholarship. But Mack said he felt at home after visiting the Dartmouth campus.
