The Temple Independent School District is excited to announce four students from Temple High School competed in the State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Antonio.
Our students represented Temple very well and received the following ratings at State:

These students were recognized by the Temple ISD School Board on Monday, May 9th for their statewide achievement.

Lamar Middle School:
- Aaliyah McCoullough – received a silver medal
Travis Science Academy:
- Kiara Nicols - received a rating of 4 (highest rating) and a Silver Medal (judge
choice). - Nayla Cyrus received 2 perfect scores and rating of 4 on both of her
watercolor/mixed media pieces. - Kahlan Henderson received a rating of 4.
- Celeste Lauber received rating 4 and 3 on her two pieces.
