Ms. Nave was a beloved member of the Scott Elementary School community, where she was entering her fourth year as the school’s counselor.
She was also a beloved member of our Temple ISD community. Ms. Nave worked her entire career in education in Temple, where she also served students as a first grade teacher, a kindergarten teacher, an Instructional Specialist and a Reading Recovery teacher.
We know this loss will deeply impact our students and staff. Temple ISD has arranged for there to be counselors on hand the first week of school, and beyond if needed.
We will do everything we can to support students and staff as they walk this difficult road.
At this time we do not have information on funeral arrangements. Once we do the district will communicate the family’s wishes through the school website and district social media outlets.
