---
Amos Electric, long a provider of electrical contracting and lighting services in the Temple area, is now in the business of selling electricity, too.

So, it just makes sense Amos Electric would "power" the 2017 Big Blue Wave 5K/1K Glow Run.

We're excited to announce Amos Electric as the title sponsor of this year's race.  Now called the 2017 Big Blue Wave 5K/1K Glow Run Powered by Amos Electric, this year's run will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27 beginning at Jefferson Elementary School and making its way through Temple's Historic Northside neighborhood.

Once again, T3 will lead a warm-up at 6:15 p.m.

The 5K is chip timed, and a medal ceremony will take place at 7:15 p.m. for overall winners and top three finishers in each category.

The money raised is the sole funding for the "I Teach Temple" program, which provides scholarships for Temple High School graduates who plan to return to Temple ISD to teach.

Register by January 19th to receive one of this year's commemorative, dry-fit t-shirts, and pay a lower registration fee.
