Temple ISD students participate in First Lady Cecilia Abbott's visit to Downtown Temple

 

First Lady Cecilia Abbott visited Downtown Temple on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, to induct Temple into the Texas Main Street program.

 

Temple ISD was honored to take part in the program, with our Temple High School Air Force JROTC posting the colors, the Temple High School Choir Polyfoniks singing The National Anthem and The Yellow Rose of Texas, and students from the Jefferson Elementary School Student Council presenting Mrs. Abbott with a copy of Temple graduate Brian Floca's book "Locomotive", which Mrs. Abbott signed and donated to the Temple Public Library.
