Temple ISD is closed on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. School will continue on Tuesday, May 29.

Temple's Quentin Johnston took third place in the 5A High Jump at the UIL State Track and Field Meet in Austin.

Dr. Bobby Ott will serve as Temple's next superintendent after he was approved by the board of trustees to take over for retiring Superintendent Dr. Robin Battershell.

Temple High School Theatre's One-Act Play has advanced to the state competition for the third time in four years. The Thespians will hold a send-off performance at the THS Auditorium on Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m.
