Nugent Avenue Bridge over I-35 to Close Friday, January 6 for Eight Months Contractors will begin the process of tearing down the Nugent Avenue Bridge on Friday, January 6. This will cause lane closures on I-35 Friday – Sunday. The Nugent Avenue overpass is expected to remain closed for 8 months while a new bridge is constructed.
