Scott Elementary School

If the 2015 Bond passes on November 3rd (Early Voting Oct. 19-30), Temple ISD will complete the master plan for Scott Elementary School.
 
The entire back hall will be renovated, eliminating outdoor bathrooms and classrooms.  The cafeteria and stage will be renovated, and portable buildings will be removed from the campus.
 
The front hall at Scott was rebuilt in the 2011 bond, along with a new 21st Century library.
The front of Scott Elementary School was renovated in the 2011 Bond.
When you enter the school you're greeted by the beautiful new front hall.
The renovated front hall and classrooms are vibrant and built for a 21st Century Education.
A new library was built in the 2011 Bond that serves as a modern multimedia center.
Outside of the library in the courtyard is a tale of two buildings. To the north, is the renovated wing of the school.
To the south is the wing of the school not renovated in the 2011 Bond. This wing will be renovated if the 2015 Bond is passed.
If you're in the "vintage" wing of Scott Elementary School and you need to go to the bathroom, you have to head outside.
If the 2015 Bond is approved, all outdoor bathrooms will be brought inside the newly renovated south wing of the school.
So will the outdoor water fountains.
And these outdoor classrooms.
Additionally, if the 2015 Bond is approved, the newly renovated south wing will accommodate more students, allowing for the removal of all portable buildings.
With the portables gone, students will have more space to learn under these beautiful trees.
