Tomorrow kicks off the 2016-2017 school year in Temple ISD!
On the first couple of days of school, many parents like to drop off their children at school to get the year started.
Thus, the traffic on these days is increased around campuses.
Therefore, start early and allow plenty of time for drop-off in the morning if you are driving your children to school.
Also, we want to remind parents to obey the traffic laws and to be courteous to other drivers and school personnel.
For families with students that ride the bus, please be at least five minutes early to your bus stop.
Also, in the afternoon, on the first couple of days, typically routes run behind their normal drop off times.
Bus drivers are going over procedures and as they get to know your children are working to ensure students are dropped off at the correct bus stop.
