Temple ISD is looking into rezoning attendance boundaries for our three middle schools and our bilingual program.
We will hold public meetings on Tuesday, November 29 and Thursday, December 8 beginning at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room on the third floor of the Temple Public Library (100 West Adams Avenue).
For the middle schools, we will present information about our current unbalanced middle school attendance, present ideas for more balanced middle school attendance boundaries, and get feedback from those in attendance.
For the bilingual program, we will present ideas for changing attendance boundaries to incorporate the program at both Hector P. Garcia Elementary School and the new Thornton Elementary School, set to open in August 2017.
