Temple ISD students thank retiring superintendent Dr. Robin Battershell for her incredible impact over the last 10 years.

I want to give a few facts about. About a show she was one great superintendent you will always depend on her you'll never have to worry about nothing she always been a great a great superintendent she been everywhere she's been in my life for how many years is 1010 years and we great to have her we really don't want you to leave we love you. Feel better soon she has always made sure that our schools have a good community and we always have good relationships with teachers and other students and also is always willing to take our idea McKinley High School quite often what a few times been something I don't really expect from like a superintendent I see her at like plays in at elementary schools all throughout Temple and move food when I go when I have like family members then and the tree and then go do plays I do see a sit there occasionally so it's kind of nice see her like go to different spots and be there and not just be like a shadow in a chair and some building somewhere like she's just a great person like she ain't like she ain't like other superintendents like that just gone on. she's an outstanding person like she know what to do and know how to work the district she's always willing to help and reach out to others I remember and actually at the top 10% banquet my mother was there she's visually impaired and doctor battershell I would lean over and tell her K this is bits and help my mother through and she's always willing to lend a helping hand and do whatever she can to make things fair and right and show make Temple High School better secret of the students to voice their ideas and be marked with the community and she also wants us to participate what's a health it like says like with my family I was I never what to do in so I like that hey this is what my mentor did for me so probably I should share with my family she listens to me and government I want time I got recognized at it like a superintendent meeting and she was just so appreciative that we were there and it really felt nice like have someone recognize your accomplishments how you can just eat until that people look up to her in that she she's definitely inspired people dr. battershell with Windex is very very kind and she's patient and she's very understanding I actually got to meet her first hand at the women distinction banquet and it's kind of a funny incidents we are sitting next to each other and she was cutting her green beans very immaculately hours of slurping them but she was very very kind and patient the entire time she didn't like call me on my table manners nice she said she would talk about other okay let me tell you I'm put it this way dr. Oz Show she's just excellent. Like she help other students with their problems or if they needed the high school and throughout all of school I think dr. battershell is an excellent role model for students and for staff she's very supportive and she's very approachable and she's open to new ideas because only Michelle so it helped me with a lot of stuff and would one of them was like extra stuff too like she taught me how to sell it going and nurturing and she likes support her students and so she actually bought a turkey breast buffet and then the JROTC program which is how I got into the superintendent's advisory that I actually like kind of ran together and so I feel like we are all one in the same because I'm able to multitask this and that and then this just powerful woman just came into my life and it is quite amazing but I just want to thank dr. Herself because she's giving so much to the school I said several times she has grown this school and further and deeper into our community and reached out to community so now it's at the high school it's just it's a part of Temple of cell phone that's why there's so many people willing to help this fool and just being able to be active all around and side really thankful thank her for making it a better place when she came to me she like really confident in like she knows she likes someone who knows what she wants so she's like the kind of person I want to be when I grow up thank you dr. Rodger so it's been a great year I will miss you I was sad to see you go but I hope you enjoy your retirement and want you to know that I love you
