Secondary Education

Temple ISD is proud to offer a comprehensive selection of secondary academic courses, electives and extracurricular programs for students in grades 6-12. In addition to the foundation curriculum, TISD offers IB, Advanced Placement, early college opportunities, Career Technology Education, fine arts, athletics, foreign languages, special education and English as a Second Language (ESL).

TISD's secondary campuses have a guaranteed and viable curriculum that ensures instruction is aligned with the depth and complexity of the state standards. The Secondary Department supports clear instructional expectations, structured collaboration and responding to the needs of our learners.

Our secondary campuses include three high schools and three middle schools designed to fit the interests and needs of all students. All the secondary opportunities for students in TISD support the district's goal to prepare students to be successful in post-secondary education and workforce readiness.
