This video will show you the features available to parents and guardians through Family Access. Features include viewing student attendance, grades, and report cards. Guardians can also submit requests for changes to address and contact information here.

welcome to the family access overview tutorial to begin you'll start by going to ww.w. play sd.org once there you'll click on the Family Access icon located toward the middle of the page on the far right next you'll enter your login ID and password if you do not have a log-in ID you'll need to contact your child's campus secretary to set one up once you've entered your login ID and password like sign in  we have now reached the homepage for family access your child's name should here in the top left corner next to the Skyward logo if you have multiple students in Temple ISD you will see them all from your one meaning you only need one account for all students that you have in Temple ISD as a parent if you do have multiple student you should a small drop down arrow next to the first student named you can click the drop-down arrow and see the rest of your street in the middle of the screen hear your child's teacher or campus may post important announcement  if you need to make changes email address phone number or other information you click on my account in the top right-hand corner  cheer you can change your email address phone number or even your mailing address this will be verified by the child's campus secretary if you bike to change the language from English to a different language you will make sure you have this box that says show Google planer and family access selected you can also change notification you can choose how to receive notification about your student we found that it's popular to receive one notification a week to stay on top of things here you can choose how you like to be and you can make changes to this at any time once you've made all the changes you can click save on the right hand side click on home because all of our changes are saved and we can now begin the tutorial of the other pieces of this program first you have your annual current and new student form this is where you will fill out your annual handbook documents online using your family you must fill out one set of forms per student next we have calendar here you will see assignments missing work trade and messages displayed on a calendar next we have great book you can view current averages when you click on this link you can click on the average link to see assignment  next we have a tendency apps absence and tardy history is available by day or greeting. You can also enter an absence notification you click on to absent notifications Tab and enter this notification this will let the office know that your child will be out for the day or maybe days next we have student info the information in this section is what is on file in the district database if you need to request you can click request changes for child's name depending on her Quest the change may be immediate or may it may go into a hue to be a pro spider child came back  next we have schedule you can view your child's schedule here beginning of the year schedule or not until they're finalized by the office  Max rehab academic history here you will see great history for your student next we have portfolio this has the previous year's report card if your child was previously into blasty when given these report card next we have skylert you can set options for how you would like to receive messenger messages this is called a skylert this might be things like early out  or emergency type messages what's campus can also choose to send other messages such as maybe a PTO or a family night that's going on on the Quinta you can change your preferences in this text we have health info your child vaccination record that the school has is listed here we also have login history this shows the dates and times that you as a parent have logged in  earlier I mentioned you may change the English which is the default to something else after you selected the check box in my account to show the Google translate option you will see Xbox up here you can click the drop-down arrow and shoes the language that suits your needs that change will be automatic skip now completed the tutorial for the family access overview
