Report a Threat

Temple ISD believes students learn best in a safe and nurturing environment. Because student safety is of vital importance, we encourage you to share information with us that you deem troubling, so that we may take appropriate action. This includes information about weapons, threats, fights, drugs, self-harm, suicide or disclosures made to you or posted online that are concerning.

Reports may be made through one of the methods below or by directly contacting any campus administrator, district administrator or TISD School Resource Officer. School safety is everyone's responsibility and your involvement is appreciated.

SpeakUp for Safety

Temple ISD and Gaggle are working to keep students and schools safe by providing a simple way for students to easily and confidentially report threats of violence, bullying, peers in crisis, and other imminent threats vis the SpeakUp for Safety tipline. Trained Gaggle safety representatives evaluate SpeakUp for Safety tips 24/7/365 and send an email regarding non-life-threatening items to designated school or district staff members. In severe situations, district-appointed contacts are notified immediately. In the most imminent cases, Gaggle will contact law enforcement to intervene if they are unable to notify a district-appointed contact. The Gaggle SpeakUp for Safety tipline integrates directly with Google Workspace for Education, which students already have access to on a daily basis. There's no need for students to download a mobile app or remember a phone number -- the SpeakUp for Safety instant replies include a phone number that students can use for text messages or phone calls.
