Family Access

Parents and guardians of Temple ISD students can access information about their child(ren) online through Family Access. Family Access is a secure web service that allows the user to view attendance, grades, assignments, vaccinations, schedules, and more. Students can log onto Family Access with their TISD login and password. Family Access is provided by TISD as a free service and will be available to all parents with children enrolled in the district.  To request a Family Access account, contact your child's school.

Updating Contact Information

This year all parents or guardians will be able to log into Family Access to update information and fill out the first-of-school forms.  You will need a Family Access login for this (see paragraph above).  Watch this video for step-by-step directions.

To fill out the forms:

  1. Log into Family Access.

  2. Click on Annual Student Online Enrollment Verification on the left.

  3. Select your child's name.

  4. Start with "Student Information".

  5. Step 1: Verify, add, or update Student, Family, and Emergency Information (a-f). 

  6. Steps 2-5: Please note there are individual forms that must be completed in Steps 2-5.

  7. Step 6: review completed status of all parts of this process.

Please note, some parts of this process must be approved by school staff.  Once you have completed all parts, click on the Submit Annual Student Online Enrollment Verification button. 


You can now customize the calls made from your child’s school (formerly School Messenger) by setting the options in Skylert.  To set the options, log into Family Access.  Click on the Skylert link on the left.  Your phone and email contact information that is already on file with the school will display in Skylert.  If any of the contact information is incorrect, you can change it on the Skylert screen and it will automatically update in the student management system (Skyward). 

NOTE:  Only the Primary Contact that is listed for the child in Skyward can change the Primary Phone number.  Add contact numbers and emails as appropriate.  Check the type of notifications next to the number or email address.  If you wish to receive notification by text, be sure and add the appropriate phone(s) under Text Message Numbers.
