Temple Independent School District officials announced at the Board meeting on Monday, November 14, 2022, that the district received a "Superior Achievement" rating under Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. The rating demonstrates the quality of Temple ISD's financial management and reporting system. Temple ISD received this rating under the Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system for the fiscal year 2020-21 according to Brandy Stanford, Chief Financial Officer.
The Schools FIRST rating system assigns one of five financial ratings to Texas school districts. The rating system consists of twenty indicators each with an assigned point value. Temple ISD received a score of 94 out of 100 possible points.
