Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Plan

The main purpose of this exposure control plan is to eliminate or minimize the risk of occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) for Temple Independent School District (TISD) employees through appropriate transmission prevention and control measures.
Temple Independent School District is consistent in developing and implementing guidelines and procedures to safeguard the health and wellness of district employees and promote a safe work environment. The Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan will be maintained by the TISD Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, the Director of Health Services and the Director of Employee Benefits/Risk Management.
